Today I'm not going to be funny or very deep with my thoughts, but I just got thinking today how lucky I am to have such great friends! So here are a few thoughts about all you people reading my ramblings.
When Kyle and I got married we moved to Clearfield and I got to meet some pretty great people, and I also was close to some friends I had known for years. Friends that I worked with, and met in High school Math class and some that I got to know because of the ward we were in. I'm still in touch with them...THEY STILL LIKE Me for heaven sake! We don't talk on a daily basis, but who does these days. I am so blessed to have these friends in my life and hope they know how special they are to me.
THEN....Kyle told me we were moving. I was not excited at this thought, because I was going to be leaving all these friends I had, and going somewhere I didn't know a soul. When we first drove out to this house of ours, I was sure we were driving out to the desert to die. There was nothing. I couldn't have told you which direction we were going or which way we'd been.
Since then...I have found my way around out here, but most importantly found really great friends. Helpful, kind, generous women who like me for me....or at least they fake it really good. I love having friends...the more the merrier. Some people have a best friend, but I couldn't tell you ONE friend that isn't my best friend.
So it might be corny or maybe I'm just having an emotional day, but to all my friends who are reading this....Thank you for being in my life. You all help me out more than you know, and I hope I do the same for you. You are wonderful and I love each and every one of you!!! Thanks for putting up with my "humor" and forgetfulness and I hope our friendship lasts a long long time.
